Props & Decorations: use neon colours in blue, yellow, green and orange on a black background, cover tables in dark cloth splattered with day-glo paint, create an 80’s nightclub– dark rooms with uv lighting and blue neon, decorate walls with photos of 80’s stars from movies, tv & music, make your 80’s party all Australian!

Props & Decorations: Cover tables in gingham check fabric, drape chairs with quilts. Create a saloon bar with sawdust on the floor, spittoons, wooden chairs. Arrange bunches of wheat and flowers in cowboy boots & metal coffee cans. Make a campfire with an open fire, oil lamps, lanterns and cooking pots. Props & Decorations: Don’t forget to fly the Jolly Roger! Coils of rope and crab cages make it suitably seafarin’. Palm Trees, coconuts and sand create an island any shipwrecked sailor would be happy to land upon. Create a pirate cave in the garage – rocks and sand, flamin’ torches and lanterns to light the way. Also the perfect place to hide yer treasure chest. A pirate skeleton hanging in a cage will remind yer shipmates of the fate that awaits them should a mutiny occur!
